70's Captain Britain by Carl Riley

Here's a final piece by Carl Riley of Captain Britain in his first costume, set against the backdrop of a London skyline, and yes he has used 'artistic licence' with the background, which he freely admits.

Carl Riley had this to say about this piece...
'A recent commission of Captain Britain overlooking a London city scape. For those of you who aren’t familiar with the buildings; he’s perched on a battlement of the Tower of London with the Swiss Re tower (or gerkin as its better known) in the background. For those of you that are; yep, I’ve used a little artistic licence on the position of the buildings :-) anyway, the idea was to illustrate the contrast in building types from the medieval architecture to the ultra modern, which fitted the brief nicely.'
