Alan Davis created a English team/family of heroes in the Marvel universe in 1994 called The ClanDestine. Davis' art, and Farmer's ink's once again captured the feel that was created whilst drawing Excalibur.

If you've never read these comics, and you like Alan Davis' art then ClanDestine is a must. There's talk of Davis doing another mini-series to tie up some loose ends, I really hope so, it's great.

The main members of the family that appear are...

Adam Destine, the father figure who is immortal, and invincible.

Wallop, who is the muscle of the family, and the angrier he gets, the bigger he gets, but also the dumber he becomes

Cuckoo, she's the telepath, who posseses bodies when her existing body is killed.

Argent, she can transform her body into organic metal, with swords, and pretty much any shape, or costume she wants.

Hex, the acrobat, and hyper-sensory member of the family.

Crimson Crusader, male twin of Imp, he has the power of flight, he's strong, and pretty much invulnerable, but is stronger when close to his sister.

Imp, she too has the power of flight, and light projection, and like her twin brother, she is stronger when she's near him.

ClanDestine issues so far have been...

Volume 1
X-Men & ClanDestine
All 12 issues of volume 1 and both of the X-Men issues are contained in a graphic novel, 'ClanDestine Classic'

Volume 2
These 5 issues have been put in a graphic novel entitled 'Blood Relative'.

I really hope that Alan Davis does release another volume of ClanDestine, the Vincent storyline needs to be completed.

Members of ClanDestine are in my Excalibur poll, and at this early stage some of them are getting votes, to become members of Excalibur. I think Crimson Crusader & Imp should join as junior members, which would mean Wallop would have to join, as their guardian, just to keep an eye on them.
